John Kim received his Master of Architecture from Columbia University in 2003 and his bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 1997.

After UVA, he was an integral team member at Smith Group on the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of the American Indian and the support/research facilities located in nearby Maryland.

After Columbia, John work at Resolution for Architecture where he was instrumental in developing and implementing the firm’s prefabricated building program. In addition, he worked on numerous residential and commercial projects located throughout the country from the local metro New York area to Wisconsin and as far away as California. His work at Resolution for Architecture has won several AIA awards and has been featured in several print, online and television media outlets.

He maintains ties to the academic world by serving as guest critics for various classes at Columbia and Pratt University. Joh is a registered architect in the state of New York.
